We have just redesigned the Hillsborough Garden Club website and invite you to engage with our creative and motivated gardening community. We are more than just a club, we are a community of individuals of all ages who wish to contribute to sustainable gardening and cultivation practices throughout our world, as rendered in the National Garden Club pledge:
“I pledge to protect and conserve the natural resources of the planet earth and promise to promote education so we may become better caretakers of our air, water, forest, land, and wildlife.”
If you have a suggestion or need gardening advice, please fill out the contact form found on this page. We are continuously looking for ideas for preserving, enriching and beautifiying our surroundings and presenting them during our monthly meetings.
Please subscribe to this blog so that you will receive all of our news and information about meetings, special events such as our bi-annual Spring Garden Tour, and volunteer opportunities.
We wish to thank Amy Fletcher for her original Hillsborough Garden Club website. Amy is a working artist and had to step down as our webmaster. Our 2014-2015 co-president Carolyn Bass (me!), a business arts specialist, took Amy’s original website and migrated it to WordPress, which gives the club more options for updates and community engagement.
